ST JOHN CHURCH OF UGANDA BUSIA PARISH SAMIA BUGWE ARCHDEACONRY BUKEDI DIOCESE.
St John Church of Uganda was founded in 1906 in Busia District, now in Busia Municipal Council, a few meters to the cross roads of Jinja to customs road and Majanji Tororo Road.
Elevated to a parish status in 1917 because of its strategic position and later became the Deanary headquarters for Samia Bugwe when it was curved out of Tororo in 1986.
It had 15 parishes namely; Bumunji, Lunyo, Lumino, Majanji, Busikho, Buhehe, Butenge, Masaba, Busitema, Bulumbi, Buwembe, Busimbembe, Mundindi, Kubo and Busia with the Headquarters of the Archdeaconry at St John Church of Uganda Busia.

WORSHIP HOURS
St John Church of Uganda Busia has an average population of over 2000 Christians within the circumference and its periphery.
The church is very big that it can accommodate about a minimum of 800 (Eight Hundred) worshippers in a single service.
There are four services every Sunday at St John Cou Busia
Morning Glory service 6:00 am to 7:30 am
English Main service 7:30 am to 9:30 am
Luganda service 9:30am to 11:30 am
Lusamia Lugwe service 11:30 am to 1:00 pm
Wednesday services are conducted every Wednesday of the week starting at 7:00 to 8:30am with continues fellowships for the rest of the week days.
Zonal Fellowships
Monday: Solo A Zone from 3:00pm to 5:00pm
Tuesday: Solo B Zone from 7:00 am to 8:00am
Tuesday: Equity Bank Devotional prayers 7:00am to 8:00am
Thursday: Namaubi Zone from 3:00pm to 5:00pm
Friday: Nangwe Mugungu Zone 3:00pm to 5:00pm
Saturday: Born again fellowships from 9:00am to 11:00 am
